Why I'm Shifting My Focus Back to Wellness

It’s been a little quiet around here lately, so I wanted to share what’s been going on behind the scenes.

Some of you know that last June, I got sick unexpectedly. After a week in the hospital, I’ve spent months focusing on my recovery. While it’s not life-threatening (Thank you, Lord!), the process has been long, and I’ve faced challenges along the way—especially around my mental health and body image.

The medications I’m on have messed up my mental health and my blood sugars, so I’ve been gaining weight. Heck, even my hair has been suffering!! On top of that I have to rest, a lot, so I’ve had to put all exercise on hold, and even my business.

But the good news is that I’m slowly getting better.

So, I’m shifting my focus here back to wellness because honestly that’s the focus of my life right now.

I’ll be sharing about balancing blood sugar, insulin and cortisol, improving gut health, reducing inflammation, and prioritizing emotional wellness—and everything else I’m learning on my journey.

If you’re going through a similar season, you’re not alone.

We all have moments of struggle, and it’s okay. If body confidence, mood, or health has been tough for you, I’m here right along with you.

Thanks for being part of this journey with me. I’m excited to share more about how we can all feel our best. 💕
