Low Carb, Crispy Oven Baked Chicken

Crispy, juicy chicken -without the carbs! I’ve been making this recipe for years and is a family favorite weeknight meal.

1 pkg boneless, skin on chicken thighs (4-6)

3 tablespoons bacon fat, melted

1 teaspoon Lowry’s Seasoned Salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon of each: paprika, sage, savory, thyme


-Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

-Place your chicken, skin side up on a foil lined baking sheet.

-Combine the bacon fat and seasonings.

-Brush chicken skin with seasoning mixture.

-Bake for 55 minutes or until skin is brown and crispy and the chicken is cooked.


You could substitute other chicken parts like breasts or wings. I serve it with any low carb veggie but if you’re a carnivore you can just eat ‘em by themselves. Enjoy!
