Studio Policies

Session Fee
The session fee is due in full at the time you book your session, and is a retainer for the photographer, and any stylists and assistants time, and is therefore NON-REFUNDABLE. In case of illness or emergency your session can be rescheduled, but because there may be multiple stylists involved please give at least 24 hours notice.

Session Locations & Availability
In-studio sessions are available Thursday through Saturday, starting at 9am. Outdoor sessions are available Monday through Saturday, starting between 4 - 8 pm depending on the season.

Session Images
Although I will capture many images during your session you will only see images specially selected by me for previewing. As an artist I carefully edit the images to ensure artistry and technical perfection. Images that do not meet my artistic standards will not be shown.

Order Timeline
Your images will be ready for viewing in approximately 1-3 weeks. When they are ready for viewing you will be emailed a link to a private online gallery, which you will have access to for 3 weeks. From your gallery you will be able to view, purchase, and download your images immediately.

Payment
For your convenience e-transfer, Visa and Master Card, Paypal, cash, or cheque are all accepted. Session fees are due in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable. Payment for digital images is due in full at time of purchase. Digital images are non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable. Pricing is subject to change without notice.

Copyright
Lorraine Mortensen and Mortensen Photography owns the copyright to all images. It is illegal to share, copy, scan, alter, or reproduce photographs or digital images created by Lorraine Mortensen and Mortensen Photography without permission. Violators are subject to Canadian copyright infringement penalties. If you purchase digital images from me you will be given permission to print and/or share your images.

Guarantee
If you are not completely happy with the images produced at your session I will gladly re-shoot your session or refund your session fee 100%. Digital images are non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable.
